During this challenging time, our priority is to keep delivering the essential care that our clients need. We will continue to deliver healthcare services for as long as possible (subject to any government restrictions that might apply), as well as provide new services designed to fit the rapidly changing health environment and the needs of our clients.
Keeping people safe
We’re following the advice of the Australian Government and have increased our infection control procedures to stay protected and minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19. We’ve also implemented the government’s recommended screening procedure for anyone receiving in-home services. As a result, people screened and identified as at-risk may experience a delay before we can provide care in their homes. However, see below for further information on our expanded telehealth services that can be delivered at any time.
Every decision we make is underpinned by a strong clinical governance framework that ensures high levels of safety, quality and effectiveness. Our leadership team constantly reviews our service provision and is responding to the ever-changing situation and the health needs of our clients. We’re confident we have the flexibility and resilience to manage during these difficult times.
New telehealth services
We’re mindful that during these uncertain times, many people may be feeling particularly vulnerable and will need our care and support more than ever. Individuals may be managing an underlying health condition, including their mental health, or be concerned about their age, mobility or support network.
Our team is ready to help with telehealth coaching to help manage physical, social and mental health, alongside our in-home care services (where possible).
