Rathdowne Place Wellness Centre is a new physiotherapy and hydrotherapy clinic offering physio treatment, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation, exercise programs and therapeutic massage at one convenient location.

We believe an active approach to the management of all conditions is crucial to help our clients feel better and stay well. We provide a large range of onsite exercise options in addition to manual therapy and massage. Our experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapists, led by Marion Adeney-Steel, will develop individualised exercise programs to achieve the goals of our clients.

Comfortable therapeutic exercise and treatment in our purpose built pool heated to 34 C. The properties of water provide soothing warmth, relaxation, support and reduced impact on joints while still allowing for a vigorous workout to improve strength and fitness with minimal discomfort.

Services for the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardio-pulmonary and chronic medical conditions may include traditional “hands on” physiotherapy complimented by exercise options in our modern gym. Full rehabilitation services are also available at Rathdowne Place Wellness Centre.

Physio Gym Exercise sessions

Individual or group sessions are suitable for people of all ages and abilities to improve strength and fitness in our well-equipped light filled gym. These physiotherapist supervised sessions are a fun and cost effective way to achieve your physical goals.

Massage therapy

Relaxation and remedial massage are great ways to assist the recovery process, relieve muscle aches and pains, improve flexibility and keep you feeling well. Our massage therapists are experienced in providing these wonderful benefits for people of all ages and abilities.

Hydrotherapy is an ancient and now evidence based form of therapy that provides freedom of movement and reduction of pain to achieve improved strength, mobility and recovery.

We provide individual treatment, general exercise groups and a specialised session for “Hips, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” – ideal for clients preparing for or trying to avoid joint replacement surgery or for patients undergoing rehabilitation after injury, joint repair or replacement.

Conditions benefiting from hydrotherapy may include arthritis, pre and post joint replacement, back and neck pain, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, rehabilitation from traffic or workplace accidents, general deconditioning and reduced mobility.
